What Alex Will Do
Specific. Local. Independent.
- Support or introduce legislation to end destructive east-west discharges
- Fund the infrastructure to send water south through the Everglades
- Defend the Indian River Lagoon, beaches, and coastal estuaries
- Demand real fixes over symbolic legislation, and hold polluters accountable
The Problem
Florida spends tens of millions every few years dumping sand on beaches that wash away. Artificial reefs protect shorelines for 30+ years, restore wildlife, and create surf zones — at a fraction of the cost.
District 21 impact: Jupiter, Juno Beach, and Carlin Park are renourished on a 5–7 year cycle. Reef breakwaters could replace that — saving federal dollars and rebuilding our marine ecosystem.

Independent. No party. No Corporate PACs. Real fixes for Florida District 21.
