The Problem

Florida spends tens of millions every few years dumping sand on beaches that wash away. Artificial reefs protect shorelines for 30+ years, restore wildlife, and create surf zones — at a fraction of the cost.

District 21 impact: Jupiter, Juno Beach, and Carlin Park are renourished on a 5–7 year cycle. Reef breakwaters could replace that — saving federal dollars and rebuilding our marine ecosystem.
